How to submit an application for this program
There are rolling admissions for this program.
ZAFA is looking for serious, dedicated, hard-working, and talented artists to join this program. This program is not for everyone. Students will be pushed hard to help them sharpen their skills and drastically improve their artwork.
Classes are Monday through Thursday, 5:30-8:30PM. There is no class in June or December. This program is not based on the semester format and students may submit an application to enroll at any time, and may drop out at any time. Though once a student drops out, they are not guaranteed a spot if they wish to reenroll, due to class size limitations.
Tuition for the academy program at ZAFA is $1,000+tax per month. There is no class during the months of June and December, and students are not charged for those months. If a student decides to drop out mid month, they will still be charged for the full month.
Students are responsible for purchasing their own art supplies. They can be purchased either from ZAFA, a local art store, or online. A materials list will be provided.

5 images of your artwork. (The academy program is focused solely on academic realism as a way to teach the principles of drawing and painting. Images from your portfolio focused on representational drawing and painting from nature are preferred. )
The reason you wish to join the academy program. (1 page or less)
After applications have been submitted they will be reviewed and you will be notified whether you have been accepted into the program.
